Questo materiale, morbido e con un effetto pelliccia, ha un filamento non superiore a 5 cm. In alcune grotte pugliesi sono stati ritrovate ossa fossili di anatra e graffiti riproducenti la loro forma. Oggi vengono allevate anatre che discendono da due specie selvatiche ed i loro rispettivi incroci.<br> Nella nostra produzione le piume d'anatra vengono prevalentemente usate nella loro coloritura naturale, ricca di sfumature particolari, per realizzare frange ed incollaggi. THE DUCK (anas platyrhynchus)<br><br> Their origin is believed to be South American and their relationship with man is ancient. In some caves in southern Italy, fossil bones of duck and drawings reproducing their shape have been found.<br> Today we breed ducks descending from two wild species and their cross-breeds.<br> In our production, duck feathers are mainly used in their natural colour, rich in shades, to make fringes and coverings. LE CANARD (phasianus platyrhynchus)<br><br> Leur origine semble venir de l'Amérique du Sud et leur rapport avec l'homme est ancien. On a trouvé dans des grottes dans les Pouilles des ossements fossiles de canard et des dessins reproduisant leur forme.<br> Les canards élevés aujourd'hui descendent de deux espèces sauvages et leur croisement respectif.<br> Dans notre production les plumes de canard sont essentiellement utilisées dans leur couleur naturelle, riche en nuances particulières, pour réaliser franges et encolures. FAGIANO (phasianus colchicus)<br><br> Originariamente era presente solo in Asia, ma attualmente è diffuso anche in Europa dove vi è stato importato dagli antichi greci. La famiglia dei "phasianidae" è molto vasta e ne fanno parte tutti quegli uccelli dove il maschio ha un piumaggio ornamentale mentre la femmina si presenta in una veste delicata e poco appariscente. <br> Da molteplici specie di fagiano, lavoriamo queste stupende piume che nello stato naturale presentano una vasta gamma di colori e disegni. Possiamo realizzare frange, incollaggi ed altri applicazioni. THE PHEASANT (phasianus colchius)<br><br> Originally the pheasant lived only in Asia, but nowadays we find it also in Europe, imported by the Ancient Greeks. The phasianidae family is very large and all birds where the male has an ornemental plumage, while the female remains less striking, belong to this family.<br> From the many different species of pheasant, we work with these fabulous feathers, which in their <br> natural state present a vast range of colours and designs.<br> We make fringes, coverings and also make other applications. PAVONE (pavo cristatus)<br><br> Il pavone, forse non ha bisogno di una presentazione essendo uno degli uccelli più famosi del mondo e certamente il più ammirato. Il pavone verde fu importato in Europa nel '800 dalla Cina e Giappone ma la specie indiana era conosciuta ed apprezzata già dagli antichi romani. Lo troviamo anche spesso descritto nelle mitiche leggende greche. <br> Del pavone possiamo utilizzare non solo le famose piume della coda ma anche quelle coloratissime del corpo molto indicate per la realizzazione di frangine basse, incollaggi ed altri piccoli accessori.
